Earth Day

Minimus 3D Arkestra: Live Music and video performance by Hayes Greenfield and Ikuo Nakamura.
Sculptures by James Greenfield
Doors open at 7pm
Concert at 8pm
Dear Friends,
I hope you can join my brother Jimmy and I at the Soapbox Gallery to Celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and welcome Spring after a long cold Winter.
Jimmy, who is a sculptor, and I, will be presenting new work that is all about the world, humanity, the environment, our challenges and joys.
If you don’t know the Soapbox Gallery, Jimmy created it, a street level gallery 8 years ago, and has been devoted to providing opportunities for well over a hundred other artists to show their work, who like Jimmy, have been creating art that is concerned primarily with the current state of the world and all of its beauty, blemishes and challenges.
At 8 PM I will be performing with my new project Minimus 3D Arkestra, a duo with Ikuo Nakamura, a beautiful 3D film maker who will be mixing his stereo 3D images in real time while I play solo with my horn, stereo pedal EFX rig, and looper.  We performed it for the first time a few weeks back at the 13th Street Repertory and it was so well received that the theater booked us back for 15 performances in July.
Plus, if there are other musicians in the house who possibly feel like joining in afterwards, who knows what kind of trouble we will all get into in order to celebrate Earth Day the best way we know how.

All our best,

Jimmy & Hayes Greenfield
