A Staged Reading of a new play by Daniel Jacobs and Susan Quinn. Fri, Jan 17 at 7:30PM.
Hallie Flanagan put thousands of impoverished actors to work during the Great Depression, stood up to the bullying of the House UnAmerican Activities Committee, and electrified audiences with controversial productions around the country. Now, at age 59, she faces the most difficult challenges of her life: an angry alcoholic son, encroaching disease, and, worst of all, the possibility that she can’t rely on the theatre anymore to save her.
