Alon Yavnai has released several albums & performed & recorded worldwide both as a
leader and with renowned musicians such as Freddie Hubbard, Dave Liebman, Nancy Wilson, Paquito D’Rivera, Yo-Yo Ma, Joe Lovano, Tom Harrell, Louis Hayes, Bob Moses, Rufus Reid, Jamey Haddad, and Regina carter, among others.
Some of the highlights of Alon’s performances include Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Library of Congress, Lincoln Center, various Jazz Festivals including Newport, Bern, Jazz Baltica and the Red Sea Jazz Festival, The Blue Note and Birdland Jazz Clubs, and
notably his performances as a soloist with the Zurich Symphony
Orchestra at Tonhalle concert hall in Switzerland and with the
Philharmonic Orchestra of Colon Theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Alon has several projects including his piano trio. His body of work is versatile; he divides his time between performing, recording,
composing, arranging music for big band & teaching.
