David Berkman has been playing and composing, swinging, creative music in New York City for the over 35 years. He has played with many phenomenal musicians, including, Tom Harrell, the Vanguard Orchestra, Brian Blade, Steve Wilson, Matt Wilson Gene Jackson and Chris Cheek (to name a few). Tony Scherr has collaborated with Bill Frisell for many years, as well as Sex Mob and John Cowerd's Mercy Project. Adam Cruz has toured with Chick Corea's Origin band and the Danilo Perez trio. For much of the 90s, Tony and David lived next door to Adam's father, so this trio brings marks a return to those golden Carroll Street days.
