For more than 25 years Elisabeth Lohninger and Walter Fischbacher have been making music together. Living in New York. Touring in Europe, Japan, the Middle East. A plethora of projects and albums lie between their first duo album, "Austrian LiedGood", and their latest duo release, "Soul Garden". Originally from Austria they made New York City their home in 1994. Through their label Lofish Music they released over 20 albums between them. Owned a recording studio in mid-town Manhattan (Lofish Productions). Wrote, recorded and taught music. Through the pandemic their musical connection has only deepened. Their freedom of expression when playing together, letting loose and enjoying the ebb and flow of the musical arc within a song, only intensified. In their music, rooted in jazz with musical branches formed from decades of music making, Lohninger & Fischbacher tell the story of two people who went out into the world to find themselves and each other.
