Marilyn Lerner & Frank London’s Neshoma Marilyn Lerner & Frank London are mainstays of the Yiddish & klezmer music worlds, constantly straddling and negotiating the infinite terrain between traditional and creative musics. Friends and colleagues for many decades, they have collaborated on numerous projects. Lerner & London’s Neshoma focuses Yiddish mystical music through the lens of the spiritual Jazz tradition - ‘fire music’, ‘energy music’, ‘creative music’. Accompanied by Hilliard Greene & Newman Taylor Baker, preeminent bass and drum players on the New York creative music scene, Lerner & London’s Neshoma is dedicated to the infinite all-present spirits that inspire us, from Adrienne Cooper to Alice Coltrane.
