Rock Without Borders and SoapBox Gallery in collaboration with Olga Beregovaya present: Photography Slide show retrospective of Soviet Era Underground Rock Music Scene by legendary photographer Natasha Vassilieva Hull. Live music by Vadim Sentinel acoustic set. Rock songs from Soviet-era Underground. Join us for an evening with the most prominent and recognized photography artist of the Soviet Era Rock movement. Not only does her photography capture and narrate the History of Soviet underground Rock legends, who created their music and performed despite being banned and often prosecuted in their homeland; Natasha herself is a legend in her own right meticulously followed and captured in her own unique style both the secret "kvartirnik" concerts of legendary groups like Aquarium, DDT, Kino and many others, and their later stadium appearances during the Perestroika times. Natasha will be presenting her personal photography slide show accompanied by her memories and commentary. The photography collection is specifically curated for an American audience. entrance is 20$ refreshments and wine included.
