ALBERT MARQUES

Catalan pianist Albert Marques currently resides in Brooklyn, where he’s been flourishing in the New York jazz scene after a successful stint in Paris. Marques plays contemporary piano with a distinctive urban feel, unique and profoundly percussive. This concert at  Soapbox gallery is a unique opportunity to enjoy Marques' inventive and rhythmic style with bassist Manel Fortia.
