Serena Albero was born in Barcelona, Spain to a family of musicians and performing artists. She started her formal studies at age 7 taking up classical guitar as her main focus for 8 years. At age 15 Serena and her family moved to Seattle where her jazz career took off, headlining venues like North City Bistro, Egan’s, Tulas Restaurant & Jazz Club and being featured on KNKX 88.5 on multiple occasions performing live at the Ballard and Earshot Jazz Festivals.
Her music rings with influences that range from jazz singing and scat language to R&B and Soul feels, with a flare of classical guitar that adds to the singer-songwriter sound as well as speaks to her origins in Spain.
Chano Domínguez has achieved an unusual integration between the rhythms and languages of jazz and flamenco, creating a unique style that places him among the top musicians practicing this art-form. Internationally acclaimed, he has changed the history of flamenco-jazz.
