David Bixler returns to the Soapbox Gallery with Venezuelan percussionist Fabio Rojas and Cuban bassist Raul Reyes furthering the explorations of his 2020 release Inside the Grief. In writing about the recording in All About Jazz, Mike Jurkovic observes that, "Bixler's characteristically shiny, metallic tone and searching logic, wavers, leads, dances and dives with taut, scrappy lucidity."
