SING A SONG OF BIRD is a collaboration of four New York jazz vocalists who are passionate about Charlie Parker's music and have rendered new lyrics to six of his compositions. This is the 15th recording for Vocalist, Vitro who conceived and guided this project but chose to share the microphone with her mentors; Bob Dorough, Sheila Jordan, and Marion Cowings.

Here's what the reviewers are saying!
“…more than a dozen albums, earning jazz-world prominence with her dark-honey timbre and exuberantly versatile phrasing… She’s mined rich musical ore…” Neil Tesser, Jazziz
“Vocalist Vitro really hits it out of the park here surrounded by her idols in a set that’s been gestating since 2017… all you can say is wow. A really special set throughout that connects on every level.” Chris Spector, Midwest Record
“This is jazz perfection as you rarely hear it in any genre nowadays. There are too many highlights on this album to spend time describing them all. The album is flawless in the sense that there isn’t a bad or indifferent track or solo from start to finish.” Lynn Rene Bayley, The Art Music Lounge
